Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- Senior Secondary (50%) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Senior Secondary (45%) + D.El.Ed (as per NCTE 2002 norms)
- Senior Secondary (50%) + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Senior Secondary (50%) + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Additional Requirements:
- Must have qualified CTET (Paper I) conducted by CBSE.
- Must have passed Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at Secondary level.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 16 October 2025)
- Age relaxation applicable as per govt. rules.
Salary
- Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/- per month)
- Group B, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post
Selection Process
- One-Tier Exam (Technical)
- Duration: 2 Hours (200 Questions, 200 Marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
- Exam Language: Hindi & English (except language papers)
